We at Bit by Bit care about our community.
Keeping our friends, our families, and our loved ones safe and healthy is critical to us.
During the recent wildfire emergencies, many animals both large and small were saved, and lifetime friendships were forged by members of the Bit by Bit team. Director Erin Bradley and her two daughters, hitched up their horse trailers and committed four days to hauling horses, cattle, and other animals out of immediate danger. Throughout the evacuation zones, our volunteers Sarah Goode, Koa Lyu, and Chelsey Niato also helped with rescues in coordination with emergency response teams.
Our team members are regulars at community outreach events including the annual Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Oregon. We are proud sponsors of a treatment room for Every Child Linn Benton at their DHS Albany facility.
